I believe we should put more effort in finding a cure for arthritis. This site will show you treatment methods, meds, supplements and exercises to help with RA.

A. "Initially the doctors prescribed me 'METHOTREXATE' but it made me feel nauseous. Then I was prescribed 'PLAQUENIL' which also made me ill, it took some trial and error but now I use a combination of natural supplements (various mushroom extracts, black seed oil, and turmeric) as well as an Enbrel injection every 2 to 3 weeks."
Q. How do you monitor your RA?
A. "Just based off of my symptoms and being very aware of my body, 80% is more preventative maintenance, which includes my 'meds and supplements'(page 1 "Research")along with proper anti-inflammatory diet and daily exercise."
Q. Is RA a big deal?
A."It is especially if you don't get it treated, otherwise when you find the right treatment plan and stick to it you can live the same as any other person."
Q. Are there any mental tolls RA can take?
A."Yes there is definitely a level of frustration, depression, and anxiety that can come with flare ups and symptoms but, as long as you are following your treatment plan you can pull yourself out of those moments. Having a strong support network goes a long way as well."
